It’s been a while since I posted. I was obtaining a professional license for 6 weeks then vacation, but now i’m back. Last time I posted about solving 100 algorithms, currently I am at 64. I’m writing this post on Round 2 but it’s about Round 1. I solved my first 40 algorithms in about a week and a half. I also implemented Merge Sort 5x.
Round 1
CodeWars: 10 (very easy 8kyu level)
Cracking the Coding Interview: 9 (string chapter)
LeetCode: 6 (Spiral Matrix, Merge Binary, Max Depth, Hamming Distance, etc.)
FireCode: 5 (reverse word, fibonacci, permutation, etc.)
InterviewBit: 5 (multiple choice about Time Complexity)
Interview Cake: 5
I also started a youtube channel that features Round 1.
So now i’m on Round 2 and you’ll soon get an update once I solve 26 more. I’m aiming to solve a total of 150-200 algorithms the next 2-3 weeks. That’s pretty much all I’ve been doing. I still don’t feel comfortable with them yet. I’ve only been solving easy. Even last night on cscareerquestions on Reddit, people stated that you’d need to solve 300-400 leetcode to be comfortable with algorithms. That’s a lot, but i’ll grind through until I can’t take it anymore.
That’s all! xoxoxo
